Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day had its world premiere at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles, on July 27, 2026. Following the premiere, the first reactions and reviews were released.
The film debuted with a 93% Rotten Tomatoes critics score, making it the highest-rated live-action Spider-Man movie, tied with Spider-Man 2 and Spider-Man: No Way Home.

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink as Jean Grey alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
