Major spoilers for Spider-Man: Brand New Day! Here's what happens in the film's only post-credits scene and what it could mean for Spider-Man's MCU future.

The world premiere of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day was successfully held at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Monday night. Also, following the premiere, the first reactions and post-credits spoilers have been leaked online.

According to a person who watched the movie and wrote their reaction on X, “It really is a brand new day for Peter Parker as Destin Daniel Cretton takes over for Jon Watts in the director’s chair for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Cretton brings a more grounded, back-to-basics approach to the beloved web-slinger.”

Does Spider-Man: Brand New Day have a post-credit scene?

A new Spider-Man: Brand New Day plot leak has surfaced online, revealing major story details, new villains, and key twists ahead of the film's release.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day features one post-credit scene.

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day post-credits scene has received mixed reactions, as it doesn’t seem worth sitting through the entire credits for the final 30-second post-credits scene.

“At the end of Brand New Day, Spidey’s Tracker will show that it can’t locate Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man. Spider-Man is off-planet and in space.”

The post-credits scene shows Ned Leeds’ “Spidey Tracker,” a device he creates to track Spider-Man’s activity across New York after everyone forgets Peter Parker’s identity. The screen first displays a detailed map of Queens with a red marker and spider icons. It then zooms out to show the entire Earth before continuing into deep space.

As the camera pulls back, alerts reading “NEW OBJECTIVE” and “LOCATION FOUND” appear on the screen.

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day post-credits scene is a bit confusing. It shows Peter on another planet rather than outside the universe, making it difficult to see how it connects to Avengers: Doomsday or even Avengers: Secret Wars. Since Secret Wars is expected to destroy every universe, only Battleworld should remain.

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.

Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink as Jean Grey alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk, Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone.

The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters on July 31, 2026.
