Marvel’s Vision Quest series is scheduled to begin filming next month (February 2025). According to Daniel Richtman on his Patreon, the studio is still looking to cast a young teen and the show’s co-lead.
Tony Stark‘s AIs, J.A.R.V.I.S. (Just A Rather Very Intelligent System) and F.R.I.D.A.Y. (Female Replacement Intelligent Digital Assistant Youth), will return in the show, as confirmed by an insider.
J.A.R.V.I.S. (voiced by Paul Bettany) was originally Tony Stark’s AI assistant, managing his suits and technology before being integrated into Vision in Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). Meanwhile, F.R.I.D.A.Y. (voiced by Kerry Condon), introduced in the same film as J.A.R.V.I.S.’s successor, continued assisting Stark until Avengers: Infinity War (2019).
Vision Quest follows White Vision (Bettany) as he tries to regain his memory and humanity. After Thanos killed him in 2018’s Avengers: Infinity War, Vision returned in 2021’s WandaVision.
Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalas will serve as showrunner for the new series, which will see Paul Bettany return to reprise his role as Vision, a character he has played in three Marvel films and WandaVision.
Faran Tahir will return as Raza, the leader of the terrorist organization Ten Rings, while James Spader will reprise his MCU role as Ultron. Todd Stashwick is also set to appear in an undisclosed role.
According to Daniel Richtman in his new Patreon post—the Vision series will feature elements from the West Coast Avengers comic book series. Ultron will play a major role in the series, rather than just making a cameo appearance.
Vision Quest will premiere on Disney+ in 2026.
