A limited series adaptation of Jonathan Franzen’s The Corrections is in development at CBS Studios.
According to a Puck report, Meryl Streep (Only Murders in the Building, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again) is reportedly set to star in the adaptation of Franzen’s The Corrections limited series for CBS Studios.
The Corrections is about the troubles of an elderly Midwestern couple and their three adult children—tracing their lives from the mid-20th century to “one last Christmas” together near the turn of the millennium.
The Corrections by Jonathan Franzen is a critically acclaimed novel published in 2001. The novel quickly became a best-seller after its release—remaining on The New York Times Best Sellers list for an extended period. Its popularity helped solidify Franzen’s reputation as a leading contemporary novelist. Additionally, the novel has been translated into multiple languages—reaching a global audience and expanding its impact beyond the English-speaking world.
The Corrections will soon be pitched to major streamers, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, Apple TV+, and HBO Max.
