A new set images from Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday reveal the Sentinels from last year’s filming location.
The newly leaked images provide a clearer look at a Sentinel’s head and the X-Mansion. Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom appears to use his rune magic to bring the Sentinels back to life and place them under his control. See the images below.
Here are some Sentinel set photos that leaked last year.
According to the recent leaked footage set in the X-Men universe, Doctor Doom crashes onto the battlefield and unleashes powerful green magic. Thor helps a long-haired, bearded Steve Rogers back to his feet as Doom’s magic spreads through the Sentinels, reactivating them with glowing green eyes. Yelena witnesses the Sentinels awakening while Shang-Chi prepares for battle before Doom descends from the sky.
The footage then shows several heroes together, including Beast, Cyclops, Nightcrawler, Mystique, Sam Wilson, and Reed Richards. In a scene similar to Avengers: Endgame, the heroes unite before Cyclops fires his optic blast, starting a massive battle against the Sentinels.
Here’s the official synopsis for Avengers: Doomsday:
“Beloved heroes from three distinct universes (Earth-616, Earth-828, and Earth-10005) will be set on a deadly collision course and face an existential threat unlike anything they’ve ever encountered.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
