The new concept art for Tom Holland‘s Spider-Man, Liza Colón-Zayas‘ Jean DeWolff, and Mark Ruffalo‘s Hulk from Spider-Man: Brand New Day has been shared by concept artist and illustrator Wesley Burt.
On Instagram, Burt shared the exclusive Spider-Man: Brand New Day concept art images. In the image below, Spider-Man and Jean DeWolff are inside the car. DeWolff’s character is a “grounded, noir-inspired take on the detective” who has a dynamic with Spider-Man.
Burt wrote, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day concept art, I was already a big fan of Liza Colón-Zayas from watching her in The Bear, so it was really fun to picture her as Detective Jean Dewolff and her rapport with Spider-Man.”
Another piece of concept art reveals Hulk in an “early mood piece for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Had fun in this one trying to get a more current likeness update to Mark Ruffalo, incorporating his grey hair and his occasional facial hair, and imagining the turn from Smart Hulk. Much larger versions came later!”
Another piece of concept art features Savage Hulk battling Spider-Man. Spider-Man reportedly uses a Shocker gauntlet to deliver a Superman-style punch that knocks Hulk out.
