A big update on Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday has been leaked online. According to the new report, Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom will have a mission powerful enough to resonate with some of our heroes — to the point that they’ll feel Doom might actually be right.
A leak shared by X user @majestic_ucm reveals that a major part of the plot involves Doom kidnapping Franklin Richards and taking him to another universe. Characters from Earth-616 and the X-Men universe will reportedly have a major battle.
It is also said that there will be a fight scene between Shang-Chi and Beast. Additionally, it was mentioned that there might be two versions of Yelena in the movie, which could mean Yelena vs. Mystique. Captain America (Sam Wilson) will be fighting Cyclops, Captain Marvel will face Binary, Reed Richards will fight Nightcrawler, and Colossus will battle The Thing.
Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man is confirmed to appear in Avengers: Doomsday, although it’s unclear how big his role will be. He’s said to appear at least in the beginning of the film in some capacity.
Chris Evans is also confirmed to be in the movie. It’s not entirely clear who he’s playing, but he’s listed on the call sheet as Luke Cage — a placeholder name used to prevent leaks. He’s not actually playing that character, though rumors suggest he could be portraying Nomad. It was also said that Marvel didn’t expect his casting to leak, which explains why Chris publicly denied his involvement — but he’s reportedly 100% in the film.
Additionally, reports that the team has been filming while the script is still incomplete are true.

Recently, insider Daniel Richtman revealed on his Patreon post that Avengers: Doomsday will reportedly feature multiple versions of Doctor Doom, including female Dooms.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
