(FYI: This post contains potential spoilers for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday)
The fate of Captain America/Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes will be coming to an end in Avengers: Doomsday.
According to a new leak from insider Majestic, the impending clash between Earth-616 and the X-Men’s Universe/Great Society is the space crisis mentioned during the Thunderbolts post-credits scene.
It is reported that Bucky Barnes is the most likely member of the New Avengers to die in Avengers: Doomsday.

“From most of the industry insiders and filming leaks, it is almost confirmed Chris Evans will return in at least one of the two Avengers films. We know Hayley Atwell appears in both Avengers movies. It would make sense for Peggy’s character development to involve the loss of Steve, the love of her life and the father of her children, in a life they were never meant to have.”
With Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom pursuing Steve throughout the film, and Steve having a huge role in Doomsday, it is likely that Steve will be one of the major deaths in Doomsday.
Kelsey Grammer’s Beast has scenes with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, Doctor Doom, and Pedro Pascal’s Reed Richards. Thor and Steve are everywhere — at least we have Thor and Steve at their best, front and center in Doomsday.
There are rumors that Steve Rogers is one of the people who caused the incursions in the multiverse. At the end of Avengers: Endgame, Steve went back in time to live with Peggy, and unfortunately he also began altering events. Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom is also rumored to be after Steve Rogers. It is said that an accident caused by Steve going back in time killed Doom’s wife and son, leaving him injured and driving him to seek revenge.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
