Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios have released a new official international poster for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, confirming that the film is set for release in China. A release date will be announced soon.
The previous Spider-Man film, Spider-Man: No Way Home, was not released in China due to the inclusion of the Statue of Liberty in the movie.
The film is a direct sequel to Spider-Man: No Way Home, set four years after the events of the previous movie. Peter Parker now lives alone in a city where no one remembers his name, fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man. See the poster below.

According to insider @Cryptic4KQual, new Spider-Man: Brand New Day promos are reportedly coming in the next few weeks.
In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Tom Holland teased a massive press tour for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
Holland said, “The movie is all about community. All of these stops that we’re doing, we are working in cultural events, community events, and there will be charitable components.
When you can promote a movie but also shed some light on amazing causes, that’s what really makes a difference.”
Here’s the synopsis for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
