A new look at Robert Downey Jr.‘s Doctor Doom through official merchandise for Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday has surfaced online.
On X, user @RealJoseObregon shared an image of the official Doctor Doom merchandise. He wrote, “Just found this keychain at Spencer’s official Doomsday merch.” See the images below.
It was recently reported by John Campea that Downey Jr.’s face as Doctor Doom will reportedly not be revealed in Avengers: Doomsday.
There will be a scene featuring Doctor Doom and his family in a lab during an experiment that kills them and severely damages his body.
Campea spoke about the rumors while discussing how a possible Spider-Man: Brand New Day post-credits scene could set up the next Avengers movie.
“One of the rumors about Doomsday that we did confirm for people is that they do not reveal Robert Downey Jr.’s face as Doctor Doom,” he shared. “I want to make sure I’m careful about what I say after that.”
“Just generally speaking, they don’t reveal Tony Stark’s face or Robert Downey Jr.’s face in Doomsday, and the repercussions of that and the reasons for it are something they’re saving for Secret Wars,” Campea added.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
