A new TV spot for Marvel’s The Fantastic Four: First Steps has revealed Ralph Ineson‘s Galactus in his giant form, walking through a retro-futuristic version of 1965 New York.

In the clip, the Fantastic Four are seen inside the Fantasticar, battling Galactus. This is the first full look at Galactus. You can see it below.
In Marvel Comics, Galactus is a very powerful cosmic-level villain. He can appear at various sizes depending on his energy level and the environment. He appears planet-sized, towering over buildings, and can scale down when interacting closely with other characters. In The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Galactus will be in a large form, towering over buildings.
Most recently, Marvel Studios released the final trailer for The Fantastic Four: First Steps. The Fantastic Four appear to be heading into space and entering Galactus’ Worldship.

In leaked plot details for The Fantastic Four: First Steps, it is reported that Galactus (Ineson) is aboard a massive ship, consuming a planet. He agrees to spare Earth — but only in exchange for their child, Franklin Richards. The team refuses — and battles the Silver Surfer (Garner). They also plan to teleport Galactus away from Earth.
According to Box Office Theory, early tracking for The Fantastic Four: First Steps shows it could make between $125 million and $155 million in its U.S. opening weekend.
Set against the vibrant backdrop of a 1960s-inspired, retro-futuristic world, Marvel Studios’ The Fantastic Four: First Steps introduces Marvel’s First Family — Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm/Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Ben Grimm/The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and Johnny Storm/Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) — as they face their most daunting challenge yet. Forced to balance their roles as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend Earth from a ravenous space god named Galactus (Ineson) and his enigmatic Herald, the Silver Surfer (Julia Garner). And if Galactus’ plan to devour the entire planet and everyone on it weren’t bad enough, things suddenly get very personal.
The film also stars Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and Sarah Niles. Directed by Matt Shakman, produced by Kevin Feige, and executive produced by Louis D’Esposito, Grant Curtis, and Tim Lewis.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps has a runtime of 1 hour and 55 minutes (115 minutes) and is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 25, 2025.
