Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 has resumed filming in New York City after a brief halt.
Following the production restart, new photos of Charlie Cox and Wilson Bethel as Daredevil and Bullseye were spotted on set in New York City on May 8, 2025.

In the images, Daredevil (Charlie Cox) and Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) appear to be teaming up, as NYC is now ruled by Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio). Both characters are visibly injured. Cox’s Daredevil is wearing his new black suit with the double-D logo on the chest, while Bethel’s Bullseye has not received any upgrades.

In previously leaked set footage, scenes filmed at Chelsea Factory show Wilson Fisk’s (Vincent D’Onofrio) Anti-Vigilante Task Force chasing Daredevil and Bullseye.
Dario Scardapane serves as showrunner, while Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead are directing episodes of Season 2.

In a recent interview with Collider, Cox describes Matt Murdock as someone who can see things clearly, though sometimes incorrectly. Due to events at the end of Season 1, Matt finds himself questioning his instincts at the beginning of Season 2.
Cox said, “Matt has the ability, and this is one of his strengths in the past, to see things quite clearly — often incorrectly, but he sees things clearly. He makes a decision, and then he follows through with that decision. He communicates with people that way.” He added, “No, this is what we have to do. We’re going to do that. That’s what we do next. That’s the next step. He’s very good at committing to those decisions.”
Cox continued, “Because of some things that happen at the end of Season 1, and because of where we find ourselves at the beginning of Season 2, and in my conversations with Dario [Scardapane], our amazing writer and showrunner, I’ve found that there’s an opportunity for him to no longer trust those instincts and no longer be clear-minded about what the next right step is, and so he questions a lot. He kind of backtracks a bit. He’s clearly unsure and finding that he has to take gambles and hope that he’s making the right choice.”
