Universal Pictures has shared the first-look teaser for Nobody 2 at CinemaCon 2025. The film is set to be a vacation-themed sequel, following Hutch Mansell (Bob Odenkirk) and his family’s trip, during which Hutch gradually falls back into his old action-packed ways. The film appears to be a more comedic take on the action-comedy style of the first movie.
According to Discussing Film, the Nobody 2 trailer opens with Hutch (Odenkirk) at a work convention, where he is being followed by mysterious men in an elevator. This quickly turns into an intense fight inside the elevator. Meanwhile, scenes of his wife and kids complaining that he isn’t spending enough time with them are intercut throughout. The family then heads off on vacation, accompanied by a remixed version of Lindsey Buckingham’s Holiday Road—with David Mansell (Christopher Lloyd) along for the ride.
During their vacation at a carnival, Hutch’s daughter gets slapped on the back of the head by a carnival worker. Hutch immediately steps in and takes down the employees. The scene is intercut with shots of Hutch and his son sitting in a prison cell. The trailer then reveals the main plot: a drug ring run by Lendina (Sharon Stone), with help from a corrupt cop, Abel (Colin Hanks).

The trailer ends with a fast-paced montage of brutal yet funny action in different locations, including a speedboat fight where someone wearing a rubber ducky mask gets punched in the face.
Directed by Timo Tjahjanto and written by Derek Kolstad, Aaron Rabin, Bob Odenkirk, and Umair Aleem. It serves as the sequel to the 2021 film Nobody.
The film also stars Nolan Grantham, Connie Nielsen, Pyper Braun, RZA, Lloyd, Michael Ironside, Billy MacLellan, Colin Salmon, Gage Munroe, Paisley Cadorath, Stone, Hanks, Daniel MacInnis, John Ortiz, Cindy Myskiw, and Zara Longe.
Produced by Kelly McCormick, David Leitch, Bob Odenkirk, Marc Provissiero, Braden Aftergood, and Chad Stahelski. The film is a collaboration between 87North Productions, Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, and Eighty Two Films.
Nobody 2 will hit theaters on August 15, 2025, by Universal Pictures.
