‘Origin of Species‘ starring Academy Award Winner Alicia Vikander, Ana de Armas, Jude Law, Daniel Brühl, and Daisy Edgar-Jones is scheduled to begin production in Queensland, Australia on December 30, 2023.
Directed by Ron Howard from a screenplay by Noah Pink, it is based on two different accounts of the same true story. The film is described as a survival thriller that is “a darkly comic tale of murder and survival, set around a group of eclectic characters who abandon civilization for the Galapagos. They are all searching for the answer to that ever-pressing question that plagues us all: What is the meaning of life?”
Imagine Entertainment, along with CAA Media Finance and AGC Studios, is set to make a big splash at the upcoming Cannes market with their new project. Brian Grazer and Karen Lunder from Imagine will produce the film. Despite the strike causing delays in some projects, Cannes is still a hotspot for potential buyers, making films with advanced scripts or completed production even more appealing.
