Patti LuPone is Playing a 450-year-old Sicilian Witch In Agatha: Coven of Chaos
Patti LuPone, who plays the role of Lilia Calderu in Marvel’s ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos, revealed that she is playing a 450-year-old Sicilian witch who is part of Harkness’s coven, and her skill is divination. She said, “We are a coven led by the great Kathryn Hahn. I am a 450-year-old Sicilian witch, and my power is divination.”
The Witches Will Sing In ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’
LuPone reveals there will be songs in ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’. The witches will sing in Coven of Chaos, Kathryn Hahn is the singer, and the songs are written by Kristen and Bobby Lopez.
Speaking to THR, LuPone opened up about her future projects, including ‘Agatha: Coven of Chaos’. She said the show contains songs and “Our lead singer is Kathryn. I’m singing backup, and the songs have been written by Kristen and Bobby Lopez.” She added, “I said, Listen, I don’t harmonize. I’ve always been a soprano. I’ve always been on the top line. But it’s just been great fun. There’s no CGI either. What I am seeing on this show is a craft.”

Based on the Agatha Harkness character from Marvel Comics, Jac Schaeffer created Agatha: Coven of Chaos for Disney+. It is a spin-off from the hit show WandaVision (2021) and is intended to be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). Schaeffer serves as the series’ head writer and lead director.
Agatha: Coven of Chaos will premiere on Disney+ in late 2023 or early 2024, and will consist of nine episodes. See the set images.
