Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Avengers: Doomsday.
Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom is the one aboard the Fantastic Four’s ship arriving from space that we see in the post-credits scene of Thunderbolts*.
According to scooper MyTimeToShineHello, Doctor Doom is reportedly aboard the extra-dimensional ship shown in the post-credits scene of Thunderbolts*, alongside the Fantastic Four. It will be revealed that his world was destroyed.

In Avengers: Doomsday, Doctor Doom’s character will be similar to Thanos in Infinity War, believing himself to be the hero. He will view the multiversal incursion as a serious threat and will use any force necessary to stop it and ultimately take control.
The concept of Doom being an antihero in the sense that his true goal is to stop incursions and “save” the multiverse by fusing the timelines into a single universe has so much potential.
Doom is using Tony Stark’s image to manipulate everyone. He knows the heroes will trust him if he looks like Iron Man.
In a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Tom Hiddleston says Avengers: Doomsday is a “monumental” film.
Hiddleston said, “My contribution has been made. It is monumental. The center of the story is absolutely brilliant and was so surprising when I read it. It has just never been done before.”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
