Warning: This post contains potential spoilers for Avengers: Doomsday.
The post-credits scene of The Fantastic Four: First Steps shows Robert Downey Jr.’s Victor von Doom / Doctor Doom interacting with Franklin Richards. This confirms that earlier rumors about Doom kidnapping Franklin and taking him to the X-Men universe were false.
It is confirmed that Downey Jr.’s Victor von Doom appears in the First Steps post-credits scene to ask the Fantastic Four for help regarding the multiverse incursions. Also, the post-credits scene of Thunderbolts* reportedly shows Doctor Doom aboard the extra-dimensional ship alongside the Fantastic Four, revealing that his world has been destroyed.
According to MyTimeToShineHello, in Avengers: Doomsday, Victor von Doom asks the Fantastic Four for help with the incursions.
They travel together to the MCU in their ship to warn everyone, then join forces to head to the X-Men universe, the source of the next incursion. They must stop it before that universe destroys their own.

It’s as if Doctor Doom plays the role of a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He appears to have seemingly noble intentions, but beneath the surface he has ulterior motives and is pragmatic and calculating. He manipulates those around him, including MCU heroes and the Fantastic Four.
In Avengers: Doomsday, Doctor Doom’s character will be similar to Thanos in Infinity War, believing himself to be the hero. He will view the multiversal incursion as a serious threat and will use any force necessary to stop it and ultimately take control. The concept of Doom being an antihero in the sense that his true goal is to stop incursions and “save” the multiverse by fusing the timelines into a single universe has so much potential.
Doom is using Tony Stark’s image to manipulate everyone. He knows the heroes will trust him if he looks like Iron Man.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
Here’s the plot synopsis for Avengers: Doomsday:
