Marvel wants to include Kang the Conqueror in the upcoming ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty‘ and ‘Avengers: Secret Wars‘.
Is Kang Still Involved in the Upcoming ‘Avengers’ Movies?
According to insider Daniel Richtman, Kang is reportedly still set to be the main villain of the two upcoming ‘Avengers’ movies. Marvel also wants to add another villain to the plot.
The previous reports come from various sources stating that the script for the upcoming ‘Avengers’ film has been entirely changed. ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ is currently titled ‘Avengers 5’. The film follows the events of previous movies such as ‘The Avengers’, ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’, ‘Avengers: Infinity War’, ‘Avengers: Endgame’, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’, and the second season of ‘Loki’. This film is the 42nd in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and belongs to Phase Six.
According to reports, Marvel President Kevin Feige is reportedly considering adding Deadpool and Wolverine to ‘Avengers: The Kang Dynasty’ following the positive response to the ‘Deadpool & Wolverine‘ trailer. They were both originally planned for ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’.
It was also reported that ‘Avengers: Secret Wars’ is likely setting up a soft reboot for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) within Earth-199999. Serving as a send-off to both the Fox-Verse and the existing MCU, leading to the introduction of a new and different MCU. The film is the 42nd installment in the MCU, serving as the final chapter of Phase Six and The Multiverse Saga. Michael Waldron pens the script, and the director could be Alfonso Cuarón or Sam Raimi.
