MCU star Sebastian Stan is set to join an important role in the upcoming The Batman: Part II.
According to reports, Stan is reportedly playing the role of Harvey Dent/Two-Face in The Batman: Part II. Recently, Stan’s stylist, Michael Fisher, posted a photo on his Instagram story, seemingly confirming that Stan is playing Harvey Dent in the movie. See the post below.

In DC Comics, Harvey Dent was Gotham City’s district attorney who worked alongside Batman and Commissioner Gordon to fight crime. After his face is disfigured by acid during a courtroom attack, he becomes the villain Two-Face, obsessed with duality and chance, making decisions by flipping a scarred coin.
Not only Stan, but Scarlett Johansson is also in talks to join the film, with her role reportedly being Gilda Gold, Harvey Dent’s wife. This would mark the addition of two MCU stars to the film. We have also received a report that Harvey Dent’s father, Christopher Dent, will appear in the film as well. Brad Pitt was initially offered the role of Christopher Dent but declined.
During an interview with Variety, Matt Reeves said, “It’s been a long journey, but I am so incredibly excited. I’m really proud of the script Mattson and I wrote.” Reeves added that The Batman team wants to keep the story under wraps: “We put [the script] into a secret pouch that literally has a lock on it with a code. [Pattinson] was in New York at the time, and everything is high security.”
Filming is scheduled to begin in May 2026 at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in London, UK.
Speaking to SFX Magazine, Reeves discussed The Batman: Part II:
“It’s another mystery in The Batman: Part II that digs into an epic story of deeper corruption and goes into places he couldn’t even anticipate in the first film.”
“The seeds of where this story goes are all in the first movie, and it expands in a way that will show aspects of the character you’ve never seen before. Batman is constantly battling these forces, but they can’t be entirely exorcised, so the next movie delves deeper into that.”
In The Batman: Part II, Robert Pattinson reprises his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman, joined by returning cast members including Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot/The Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Jim Gordon, Cristin Milioti as Sofia Falcone, and Barry Keoghan, who is expected to return as the Joker. Reeves will direct and co-write the script with Mattson Tomlin.
The film is not part of the DC universe being developed by James Gunn and Peter Safran, though they are overseeing the project.
The Batman: Part II will hit theaters on October 1, 2027, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
