(Note: This article contains spoilers for the movie Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.)
Shameik Moore, the voice of Miles Morales in Sony’s Spider-Verse, may have accidentally revealed a big spoiler for the upcoming Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse movie.
During the red carpet premiere of RZA’s One Spoon of Chocolate at the Tribeca Film Festival in NYC, Moore told a fan, liamlovesmovies (via TikTok), that he’ll voice three versions of Miles Morales in Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse.
In Across the Spider-Verse, Miles’ Earth-42 counterpart, the Prowler, was already introduced as an enemy. So, in Beyond the Spider-Verse, there will be another variant of Miles.

During CinemaCon 2025, Sony Pictures shared the first footage and release date for Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. The footage reveals Miles and Gwen reuniting, Miles fighting the Prowler, and then going on an adventure with him. The animation style also features some innovative new techniques.
The film is a sequel to 2023’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and the final installment in the Spider-Verse trilogy. Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson direct the film from a screenplay by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham.

In the film, Shameik Moore plays Miles Morales / Spider-Man, Hailee Steinfeld as Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman, Jason Schwartzman as Dr. Johnathon Ohnn / The Spot, and Karan Soni as Pavitr Prabhakar / Spider-Man India.
At CinemaCon, the filmmaking team, including producer Lord and co-directors Persichetti and Thompson, said, “We know how important this franchise is to so many people. We just could not run it back.” They added, “So, we decided we needed to take the time to make sure we got it just right.”
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse will hit theaters in the United States on June 4, 2027, by Sony Pictures Releasing.
