Spider-Rex Will Chase Miles Morales In Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

A new TV clip gave fans the first look at Spider-Rex in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. In the clip, Spider-Rex is following Miles Morales, much like T. Rex from Jurassic Park. See the clip below.

A vast number of Spider-Man characters from different universes are set to appear in Across the Spider-Verse, including Peter Parker, Miles Morales, Gwen Stacy/Spider-Woman, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Ham, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-Man India, Spider-Girl, and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse versions (Spider-Man Noir, Peni Parker/SP//dr, Peter B. Parker).

Directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson from a screenplay by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David Callaham, the movie is a sequel to “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” (2018). Shameik Moore reprises his role as Miles and stars alongside a cast that includes Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry, Luna Lauren Vélez, Greta Lee, Rachel Dratch, Jorma Taccone, Shea Whigham, and Oscar Isaac.

What Is The Runtime Of Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse?

According to Collider, Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse is the longest major studio animated film ever. AMC Theaters updated the Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse runtime to 2 hours and 19 minutes. The previous run time reported was 2 hours and 20 minutes.

After reuniting with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence. However, when the heroes clash over how to handle a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders. He must soon redefine what it means to be a hero so he can save the people he loves most.

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse will hit theaters on June 2, 2023, and the third film, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, is scheduled for release on March 29, 2024. A female-focused spin-off film is currently in development.
