Warning: This post contains spoilers for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
An HD version of the second trailer for Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day has reportedly leaked online, featuring a runtime of 2 minutes and 34 seconds. As previously expected, Sony is preparing a global fan event for Spider-Man: Brand New Day in Amsterdam on June 17, where the second trailer is expected to be officially released.
On X, a user reportedly shared the full second trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The footage appears to showcase Spider-Man’s mutation and how it affects him, the return of Savage Hulk in his Grey Hulk form, Sadie Sink‘s character using her pink powers to freeze everyone in New York City except Spider-Man, and a major showdown between Spider-Man and Scorpion.
The trailer opens with Spider-Man (Tom Holland) facing off against Scorpion (Michael Mando), who appears in a full comic-accurate suit complete with his iconic tail on a New York City street at night.
Scorpion either ambushes Peter or lies in wait for him.
Scorpion: “Did you miss me, Spidey?”
A brutal close-quarters brawl follows. Peter catches Scorpion’s tail, and his eyes briefly turn black, hinting at his mutation.
Peter then slams Scorpion into the ground and into a car, showing signs that he is losing control.
Peter: “What is happening to me?”
Peter: “I’m losing my mind.”
Peter: “I’m out of control.”
Peter swings uncontrollably through the city at high speed as his web-shooters malfunction and fly off. Organic webbing, similar to the natural white webs seen in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films, shoots out wildly.
The sequence shows Peter crashing into objects, getting a bird stuck to him, nearly colliding with cars, and eventually landing in the middle of a wedding or another crowded gathering.
Following that, Peter, dressed in civilian clothes, visits Bruce Banner (Mark Ruffalo) in a laboratory.
Peter: “Dr. Banner, you figured out a way to suppress mutating DNA, right?”
Banner reveals his Hulk inhibitor device.
Banner: “If you see me without this, run!”
Peter: “Theoretically, could you get rid of the bad aspects but keep the good?”
Banner: “How would you decide which parts of nature are good or bad?”
The trailer then cuts to Peter’s growing isolation. He watches a livestream featuring MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon), who no longer remember him. Brief moments also show awkward interactions with them, as well as an emotional visit to Aunt May’s grave.
Sadie Sink’s mysterious character, who many fans believe could be Jean Grey, appears to possess telepathic and mind-jumping abilities.
She moves between people’s minds, taunts Peter, and freezes civilians in place.
The next sequence shows Spider-Man creating a web tornado against The Hand ninjas, swinging from a helicopter, and navigating dangerous situations involving collapsing structures.
The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) also appears, teasing a possible team-up as he helps protect MJ and is seen in scenes involving his battle van.
A mind-controlled Grey Hulk emerges, appearing larger and more powerful than ever.
Peter: “Okay… I didn’t know you could get that big!”
A destructive chase and fight sequence follows, with Hulk’s thunderclap sending Peter flying through hallways as the two clash in brutal fashion.
The trailer continues to highlight Peter’s struggle with his mutation as he remains battered but determined.
A montage showcases Peter rescuing MJ, additional dialogue from the Punisher, and Aunt May’s narration about power and responsibility.
Peter appears unmasked, bruised, and emotionally exhausted, while another sequence teases a collapsing building, possibly involving Hulk.
The trailer ends on a lighter note. During a prison rescue mission, Spider-Man pauses while surrounded by guards, cracks a few jokes about stretching first, and then proceeds to take them all down.

The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play the role of Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.

After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he has devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
