Warning: This post contains spoilers for The Batman: Part II.
Scarlett Johansson is reportedly playing an important character in Matt Reeves’ The Batman: Part II. Earlier rumors suggested she had been cast as Gilda Dent, the wife of Harvey Dent. However, a new leak now claims she will play the film’s main villain.
According to a Reddit post from the reliable DCULeaks account, “Johansson is the main villain—a serial killer obsessed with plants. She uses toxins, making her a realistic version of Poison Ivy.

She’s after the character played by Charles Dance, who leads a secret organization made up of the city’s most powerful figures—the Court of Owls.”
The rumored cast also includes Sebastian Stan as a scarred and tattooed Victor Zsasz and Brian Tyree Henry as Harvey Dent/Two-Face.
In a recent interview, Robert Pattinson said The Batman: Part II will be a “really different type of Batman movie.” He believes fans will be “really pleasantly surprised” by the film’s new approach.
Pattinson said, “The script is so good. It’s kinda crazy because the first one was already a little bit of a different type of Batman movie, and this is a really different type of Batman movie. Hopefully, people will be really pleasantly surprised by it.”
