The Canceled Batman movie “Batman Beyond” contains a romance sequence between Michael Keaton’s Batman and Michelle Pfieffer’s Catwoman. If the film didn’t been canceled, we could have seen a romance between the original Batman and Catwoman.
The Hollywood Reporter’s Heat Vision newsletter reported that a Batman project had been planned with Keaton and Pfieffer. Unfortunately, the project was dropped. The plot reportedly includes an intense romance between Batman and Catwoman. Keaton’s Batman is returning in the upcoming DC’s The Flash movie. Christina Hodson, who wrote The Flash and Batgirl, recently told that a Batman Beyond idea “which had executives excited.”
Hodson was previously preparing the script, but the new co-CEOs of DC Studios, James Gunn and Peter Safran told her to stop working on the project.
Recently, a report came out about future DC projects. It said that Wonder Woman 3 starring Gal Gadot and directed by Patty Jenkins had been dropped and Man of Steel 2, with Henry Cavill, was also reportedly canceled. But Cavill will return as Superman. Gunn responded in a public statement on Twitter, saying that the THR reports are true, not true, half true, or not yet true or untrue depending on their plans.
“Batman Beyond” is an animated television series that aired from 1999 to 2001. The series is set in the future and follows a teenage boy named Terry McGinnis who takes on the mantle of Batman under the tutelage of Bruce Wayne. The show was well-received and has since gained a cult following.
