The Flash will be screened for exhibitors at CinemaCon 2023, two months before its June 17, 2023, theatrical release date. CinemaCon 2023 will be held in Las Vegas from April 24 to April 27.
According to Variety, Warner Bros. Pictures is providing support for the film, which has been plagued by controversy because of the troubles surrounding actor Ezra Miller. Miller’s troubling behavior in the past has resulted in legal troubles as well as assault and abuse accusations. In a Vermont burglary case, the actor pleaded guilty to criminal trespassing in mid-January. They might be sentenced to a year on probation and fined $500. In addition to the Vermont incident, Miller was recorded secretly recorded on tape committing acts of violence toward Hawaii police officers and seemed to be under the influence of drugs.
Recently, DC Studios co-chairmen and co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran reacted to the film’s progress and Ezra’s health. The Flash, according to Gunn, will be “one of the greatest superhero movies ever made.” “Ezra is fully committed to the recovery right now,” Safran said. “We talked to them; we’re in constant contact.” But you know, when the time is right, we’ll have the conversation with them and decide what’s best for them personally and also for us.”
