‘The Miracle Club’ VOD Release Date Revealed

The VOD release date for ‘The Miracle Club‘ has been announced as October 17, 2023. It will be available for purchase or rental on digital HD platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Vudu, iTunes, and Google Play Movies & TV. The release dates for the film’s DVD, 4K UHD, and Blu-ray versions are yet to be confirmed.

What is the Plot of The Miracle Club?

Set in 1967, The Miracle Club follows the story of three generations of close friends, Lily (Maggie Smith), Eileen (Kathy Bates), and Dolly (Agnes O’Casey) of Ballygar, outside Dublin, who win a pilgrimage to the sacred French town of Lourdes, that place of miracles that draws millions of visitors each year. Just before their trip, their old friend Chrissie (Laura Linney) arrives in Ballygar for her mother’s funeral. The women set out on the journey that they hope will change their lives, with Chrissie, a skeptical traveler, joining in place of her mother. Along the way, old wounds are reopened, forcing the women to confront their pasts even as they travel in search of a miracle.

Directed by Thaddeus O’Sullivan from a screenplay by Jimmy Smallhorne, Timothy Prager, and Joshua D. Maurer. The film stars Laura Linney as Chrissie Ahearn, Kathy Bates as Eileen Dunne, Maggie Smith as Lily Fox, Stephen Rea as Frank Dunne, Agnes O’Casey as Dolly Hennessy, Mark McKenna as George Hennessy, Niall Buggy as Tommy Fox, Hazel Doupe as Cathy Dunne, Mark O’Halloran as Father Dermot Byrne, and Lesley Conroy as Sister Alice.

‘The Miracle Club’ premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Festival on June 9, 2023. It had a theatrical release in the United States through Sony Pictures Classics on July 14, 2023, and in the United Kingdom via Lionsgate UK on September 29, 2023.
