Warner Bros. Pictures will unveil the first look poster or teaser for ‘The Nun 2‘ at CinemaCon 2023 on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. Check out the first official logo below.
As per Comicbook, Warner Bros. Pictures may host two major events at CinemaCon 2023. It will begin its upcoming film slate at 8:30 a.m., following a “State of the Industry” presentation. The studio will be celebrating 100 years of movies at the event.
There are multiple titles to be revealed at the event, including The Meg 2, Barbie, Dune: Part Two, Wonka, The Color Purple, the most recently announced Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, new Lord of the Rings films, and Furiosa.
The Nun 2 is directed by Michael Chaves and written by Akela Cooper, Ian Goldberg, and Richard Naing from a story by Cooper. The film is a sequel to The Nun (2018) and the ninth installment in The Conjuring Universe franchise. The film tells the story of a nun in Romania who takes her own life, and the investigation that ensues to uncover the truth behind her death.
The film stars Storm Reid, Taissa Farmiga, Katelyn Rose Downey, Bonnie Aarons, Jonas Bloquet, and Anna Popplewell. James Wan and Peter Safran return as co-producers, with Judson Scott also serving as a producer.
The Nun 2 will be released in theaters on September 8, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
