The official trailer for ‘The Nun 2‘ has been leaked prior to its scheduled release on YouTube. The leaked trailer, with a runtime of 1 minute and 23 seconds, features Sister Irene (played by Taissa Farmiga), who is awakened from her sleep by a mysterious sound. Curious, she investigates and enters a room where Valak (played by Bonnie Aarons) emerges from the darkness. See the trailer below.
The Nun 2 is directed by Michael Chaves from a screenplay by Akela Cooper, Ian Goldberg, and Richard Naing from a story by Cooper. The film is a sequel to The Nun (2018) and the ninth installment in ‘The Conjuring‘ Universe franchise. The film tells the story of a nun in Romania who takes her own life, and the investigation that ensues to uncover the truth behind her death.
The film also stars Storm Reid, Katelyn Rose Downey, Jonas Bloquet, and Anna Popplewell. James Wan and Peter Safran return as co-producers, with Judson Scott also serving as a producer.
The Nun 2 will hit theaters on September 8, 2023, by Warner Bros. Pictures.
