Max has released the first trailer for ‘The Regime,’ starring Kate Winslet. Winslet portrays the Chancellor of a fictional Central European autocracy, facing challenges to her position amid domestic turmoil in the show.
The show, created by Will Tracy, has him as the writer and executive producer. Stephen Frears and Jessica Hobbs direct episodes and serve as executive producers, with Winslet, Frank Rich, and Tracey Seaward also joining as executive producers.
The series also stars Matthias Schoenaerts, Guillaume Gallienne as the Chancellor’s husband, Andrea Riseborough as the Palace Manager, Martha Plimpton as the U.S. Secretary of State, Hugh Grant as the Leader of the Opposition triggering protests, along with Danny Webb, David Bamber, Henry Goodman, Stanley Townsend, Cosmo, Louie Mynett, Rory Keenan, Karl Markovics, and Pippa Haywood.
