Amazon Prime Video has canceled Paper Girls after one season. Unfortunately, fans could not get to watch ‘Paper Girls Season 2‘. Paper Girls follows four young girls who, while out delivering papers during the dark morning hours after Halloween in 1988, become unwittingly caught in a conflict between warring factions of time-travelers, sending them on an adventure through time that will save the world. As they travel between time periods, they encounter future versions of themselves and must choose to embrace or reject their fate.

According to Deadline, Legendary TV will be shopping the series, looking to tap into the popularity of series like Euphoria and Sex Lives of College Girl by offering another show with three-dimensional young female characters at the center.

Paper Girls got an awesome response after all eight episodes from Season 1 were released on July 29. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the series scored a 90% rating and an impressive 88% audience score. Paper Girls, which did not break into Nielsen’s weekly streaming rankings.

Paper Girls is created by Stephany Folsom. The series is based on the 2015–2019 comic book series of the same name written by Brian K. Vaughan and illustrated by Cliff Chiang. it stars Camryn Jones as Tiff Quilkin, Riley Lai Nelet as Erin Tieng, Sofia Rosinsky as Mac Coyle, Fina Strazza as KJ Brandman, and Adina Porter as Prioress.

Paper Girls season 1 is now available on Prime Video.
