During the production of Avengers: Doomsday, Tobey Maguire was spotted on the set wearing motion-capture suits to film his scenes. Some sources reported that Maguire’s Spider-Man suit resembles the red and gold Ultimate Iron Spider suit, but that is not true, as new sources confirmed that it is Raimi’s universe original suit.
According to insider DanielRPK, Maguire’s Spider-Man suit in Avengers: Doomsday will reportedly resemble the one he wore in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Marvel Studios has always wanted a big opening for Avengers: Doomsday. So, they are bringing in one of the most popular characters in the Marvel Universe, Maguire’s Spider-Man, and his rogues’ gallery will fight against the X-Men. It is reported that Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man will have three minutes of screen time before being killed in Avengers: Doomsday.
The leaked opening scene details reveal that Maguire’s Spider-Man, Wolverine, Deadpool, and Magneto reportedly appear. Deadpool and Wolverine fight Spider-Man, with Wolverine directly taking part in the battle. Meanwhile, Magneto reportedly drops massive bombs on the city.
The battle may take place near the Daily Bugle. One scene reportedly shows Deadpool, Wolverine, and Spider-Man standing in front of a destroyed Daily Bugle building, with its logo collapsed and the surrounding area in ruins. Wolverine is also reportedly seen fighting Spider-Man in the rain.
At the end of their fight, Maguire’s world is completely destroyed, which may connect to the shot in the trailer where Professor Xavier looks toward a bright light and shields his face.

Avengers: Doomsday will be released in theaters across the United States on December 18, 2026, and Avengers: Secret Wars is scheduled for release on December 17, 2027.
