Tramell Tillman is reportedly playing the new head of the Department of Damage Control in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
According to Alex Perez (via The Cosmic Circus), Tillman’s character leads the hunt for a rogue metahuman played by Sadie Sink. The investigation also brings Frank Castle, Bruce Banner, and Spider-Man under scrutiny. In Brand New Day, Sink’s character is reportedly under the protection of Jon Bernthal‘s Punisher.
The DODC first appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming as a cleanup and tech-storage agency. At that time, it operated under Tony Stark after he acquired it in 2012 following The Avengers, originally focusing on post-battle damage control and alien tech containment.
Following Avengers: Endgame and Tony Stark’s death, the DODC evolved into a more aggressive agency. It began interrogating and detaining enhanced individuals rather than simply cleaning up after them. Targets have included Peter Parker, Kamala Khan, Jennifer Walters, and Simon Williams.
In the upcoming Wonder Man series, the DODC serves as an antagonistic force, with Arian Moayed returning as Agent P. Cleary and leading the investigation into Simon Williams. Cleary believes Williams is a threat and uses covert surveillance, including turning allies into informants.
Post–Avengers: Secret Wars, the DODC will reportedly evolve into a new enforcement agency that targets any superhuman operating without official Avengers approval, with mutants becoming its primary focus. The agency is expected to serve as a major antagonist in upcoming X-Men projects, using public fear of mutants and enhanced individuals to secure federal funding and expand its weapons development programs.

Most recently, the first trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day was leaked, showing Sadie Sink‘s character surrounded by the DODC.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds, and Tony Revolori as Eugene “Flash” Thompson.
Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
