Venom: Let There Be Carnage is a sequel to Venom (2018). The film is directed by Andy Serkis. The movie stars Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, and Michelle Williams.
The film opens with Cletus Kasady (Woody Harrelson), a psychotic serial killer, being sentenced to death for his crimes. Before he is executed, he reveals to Eddie that he has a connection to Venom and that he knows the location of a hideout where he has stored a collection of secrets.
Eddie and Venom agree to help Cletus find his lost love, Frances Barrison, in exchange for the information he has about Venom’s home planet. However, when they arrive at the hideout, they discover that Cletus has bonded with a symbiote named Carnage and escaped from prison.
As Carnage wreaks havoc on the city, Eddie and Venom must find a way to stop him before he causes too much destruction. Along the way, they are aided by Anne Weying (Michelle Williams), a former love interest of Eddie’s who is now engaged to another man.
In the end, Eddie and Venom face off against Carnage and Barrison in a final battle that will determine the fate of the city and possibly the entire world.
