Cline was interviewed by Cosmopolitan about her acting career. She said, “For a while, I didn’t know if I was going to pursue acting. I was young. But then I realized that there is this formula for life—you go to school, you go to college, you find someone you fall in love with, you find a job, you get married, you have kids, you live that out, and then you retire. And there’s nothing wrong with that. But I just thought, How am I going to be a good parent to my kids if I haven’t learned if I haven’t lived life, if I haven’t seen the world? I have things I have to do first.”

Madelyn Cline is best known for her role as Sarah Elizabeth Cameron on the Netflix teen drama series Outer Banks, and she was most recently seen in Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery.
