Warning: This post contains spoilers for Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.
It’s hard to say that Marvel Studios has officially confirmed at New York Comic Con that Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 will be the final season, with no plans for Season 4. To cheer up fans, Marvel has shared exclusive details, and the first trailer for Season 3 was screened for the audience. The Defenders will also appear in this season.
We got a few spoilers from the trailer. In the Season 3 trailer, Charlie Cox‘s Matt Murdock rips off his prison uniform during a fight scene and turns it into an improvised mask. Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage will receive police badges, while Bullseye will wear his comic-book-accurate dark costume.

Here’s the description of the Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 trailer:
Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand are getting official police badges. “Well, is no one gonna say it?” Jessica asks after taking a swig from her flask. “There should be four badges.”
The new footage focuses mainly on Matt’s life behind bars. He’s wearing a new kind of suit these days, which is decidedly orange.
“I made a choice to pay for my so-called crimes for stopping a madman from turning the city into his own personal kingdom,” Matt says, content to serve his sentence.
However, there’s still plenty of action. The teaser shows Matt tearing apart his orange jumpsuit and then emerging shirtless, wearing his makeshift Daredevil head wrap and cuffs. He then proceeds to beat up some of the inmates.
There’s also a quick flash of Fisk screaming his lungs out, as well as Wilson Bethel’s Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter sporting his comic-book-accurate dark Bullseye costume.
Speaking to ScreenRant, Cox revealed that Matt Murdock will be incarcerated for eight months in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.
Cox said, “Interesting Matt Murdock-y stuff that’s going on in his head. Also, you know, being incarcerated for eight months does a number on a mind like Matt’s.”
Cox explains how Matt Murdock will be forced to face the consequences of his actions in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3.
“He probably has to accept that a lot of what he’s done is a failure and has not panned out how he thought it should or would. That’s a very tough pill for someone like him to swallow.”
In Daredevil: Born Again Season 3, Cox returns as Matt Murdock/Daredevil alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk/Kingpin, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter/Bullseye, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn, Arty Froushan as Buck Cashman, Zabryna Guevara as Sheila Rivera, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist, Elodie Yung as Elektra, Jeremy Isaiah Earl as Cole North, and Jack Mulhern as Philip.
In Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, Matt Murdock (Cox), a blind lawyer with heightened abilities, fights for justice through his bustling law firm, while former mob boss Wilson Fisk (D’Onofrio) pursues his own political ambitions in New York City. When their past identities begin to resurface, both men find themselves on an inevitable collision course.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is set to premiere in March 2027.
