The new looks at the set of the upcoming ‘Minecraft‘ live-action film have been shared by Twitter user josh_space. The filming is currently taking place in New Zealand. See the images below.

Also, the user has shared some images showing the fabrication process of the ‘Minecraft’ movie set props.
Directed by Jared Hess and written by Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer, the movie is an adaptation of the first-person survival game developed and published by Mojang Studios, available on multiple platforms. The franchise, initiated in November 2011 with its first installment, recently introduced ‘Minecraft Dungeons’ in May 2020.
The film stars Jack Black as Steve, Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks as Dawn, Sebastian Eugene Hansen as Henry, Emma Myers, Jennifer Coolidge, Kate McKinnon, and Jemaine Clement.
The film is produced by Jon Berg, Cale Boyter, Vu Bui, Roy Lee, Jill Messick, Momoa, Torfi Frans Olafsson, and Mary Parent. The production involves collaboration between Mojang Studios, Microsoft, Vertigo Entertainment, Legendary Pictures, and On the Roam. Warner Bros. Pictures will handle distribution.
Speaking to SceenRant, Producer Berg confirmed that the upcoming ‘Minecraft’ live-action movie will be a “big Warner Brothers spectacular.”
Berg said, “That’s going to be an amazing movie, that’s going to be an amazing movie. We have all the resources. It’s a big Warner Brothers spectacular. We’ve got Jason Momoa and Jack Black in it. I think it’s going to inspire people. Minecraft’s such a cool game. My kids played it; I played it, it’s going to be true to the game. And Jared Hess directing is going to do an awesome job.”
