‘The Bikeriders’ Digital Streaming Date Confirmed

Jeff Nichols‘ ‘The Bikeriders‘ is coming to a home release, which means you can watch it on digital platforms. It will be available for purchase or rental on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu, and Google Play Movies & TV starting July 9, 2024.

The film, written and directed by Nichols, tells a fictional story inspired by the 1967 photo book of the same name by Danny Lyon. The photo book depicts the lives of the Outlaws MC, a motorcycle club founded in McCook, Illinois.

What is the Plot of The Bikeriders?

The Bikeriders captures a rebellious time in America when the culture and people were changing. After a chance encounter at a local bar, strong-willed Kathy (Jodie Comer) is inextricably drawn to Benny (Austin Butler), the newest member of the Midwestern motorcycle club, the Vandals led by the enigmatic Johnny (Tom Hardy). Much like the country around it, the club begins to evolve, transforming from a gathering place for local outsiders into a dangerous underworld of violence, forcing Benny to choose between Kathy and his loyalty to the club.

The cast of ‘The Bikeriders’ includes Comer as Kathy Bauer, Butler as Benny, Hardy as Johnny, Michael Shannon as Zipco, Mike Faist as Danny Lyon, Norman Reedus as Funny Sonny, Boyd Holbrook as Cal, Damon Herriman as Brucie, Beau Knapp as Wahoo, Emory Cohen as Cockroach, Karl Glusman as Corky, Toby Wallace as The Kid, and Happy Anderson as Big Jack.

Produced by Sarah Green, Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, and Arnon Milchan. The production companies involved are Regency Enterprises and New Regency.

‘The Bikeriders’ was released theatrically in the United States on December 1, 2023, by 20th Century Studios.
