The first look at set images of Timothée Chalamet and Gwyneth Paltrow on the set of A24‘s Marty Supreme has been revealed, while filming in Central Park, New York City, on October 17, 2024.
In the images, Chalamet and Paltrow are seen sharing an on-screen kiss during the filming of a scene.
Chalamet wore a gray suit paired with a white shirt, black shoes, and glasses—his hair slicked back for the role. Paltrow wore a glamorous red cape gown, accessorized with black gloves and silver earrings—her blonde hair styled in a luxury updo.
Directed by Josh Safdie from a screenplay he co-wrote with Ronald Bronstein, Marty Supreme is loosely based on the life of Marty Reisman, a force to be reckoned with in 1950s ping-pong culture. Known for his unconventional style, Reisman won two U.S. Men’s Singles Championships in 1958 and 1960, as well as more than 20 international and national titles.
The cast of Marty Supreme includes Chalamet as Marty, Paltrow, Tyler, the Creator, Odessa A’zion, Penn Jillette, Kevin O’Leary, Abel Ferrara, Sandra Bernhard, and Fran Drescher as Marty’s mother.
Marty Supreme is produced by Josh Safdie, Ronald Bronstein, Eli Bush, and Anthony Katagas, with production companies Elara Pictures and A24.
Marty Supreme will hit theaters in 2025, distributed by A24.
