Disney has released the official trailer for Snow White, starring Rachel Zegler (West Side Story) as the title character and Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman) as her stepmother, the Evil Queen. Watch the trailer above.
The new trailer showcases the scale and beauty of the lavish production design, beloved characters Bashful, Doc, Dopey, Grumpy, Happy, Sleepy, and Sneezy, and offers a first look at the power ballad Waiting on a Wish, one of the all-new original songs by EGOT winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (The Greatest Showman). From producer and executive producer Marc Platt and Jared LeBoff (Wicked), and director Marc Webb (The Amazing Spider-Man), comes Disney’s Snow White, a live-action musical reimagining of the studio’s classic 1937 film.
The screenplay is written by Erin Cressida Wilson and Greta Gerwig. According to Forbes, the budget for the Snow White remake is reportedly $269.4 million.
The film also stars Andrew Burnap as Jonathan, Ansu Kabia as the Huntsman, Dujonna Gift as Maple, Martin Klebba as Grumpy, and Colin Michael Carmichael as Farno.
