Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is now available on VOD. Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) had children in an earlier script of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. But the “storyline” was changed after the scene was filmed. It is unclear whether this was an alternative timeline or a possible future.
Does Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne Have Children?
In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, the initial script contains Scott Lang and Hope van Dyne having two children. But the scenes were cut from the final film. On Instagram, Lucas Grant, who played the child of Lang and Hope, posted the images with Evangeline Lilly and wrote, “Mom Post: Last year Lucas had the supremely cool experience of working on his first movie…and a Marvel movie at that! He played Wasp/Hope’s son in Antman & The Wasp Quantumania and had so much fun working with Evangeline (the sweetest human on earth!). Peyton, the Director, is also incredibly nice and Lucas had an amazing time working with everyone on the film.”
“Unfortunately, as it sometimes happens, the storyline was changed after he filmed and his scenes did not make it into the final version of the movie. Regardless, he is so grateful for the experience! He had the time of his life, and has memories to treasure forever of his first movie.” Grant added.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is directed by Peyton Reed from a screenplay by Jeff Loveness. The film stars Paul Rudd as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly as Hope van Dyne, alongside Jonathan Majors, Kathryn Newton, David Dastmalchian, Katy O’Brian, William Jackson Harper, Bill Murray, Michelle Pfeiffer, Corey Stoll, and Michael Douglas.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will premiere on Disney+ in May 2023. Read our review.
