According to a new leaked report (via Majestic on X), Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday will feature a global timer that appears throughout the movie, counting down to the final incursion. The timer is connected to a device built by Reed Richards (Pedro Pascal), Shuri (Letitia Wright), and Beast (Kelsey Grammer) to track when realities begin to collapse.
In Doomsday, the countdown will appear several times, similar to how Avengers: Endgame and Captain America: Civil War showed locations on screen. This time, it will mark how close the heroes are to the final event, with labels like “3 days before Doomsday” and “2 days before.”
The main universes that will be featured in Avengers: Doomsday will be:
• Earth-616 – The Sacred Timeline, home to the main MCU heroes.
• Earth-828 – The Fantastic Four universe
• Earth-10005 – The X-Men universe
As previously reported by rumors, Avengers: Doomsday will feature two final battles. In New York City, all the heroes of Earth-616 face off against those of Earth-838. Among the heroes of Earth-616 are the Avengers, Spider-Man, the Young Avengers, the Wakandans, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Mutants. It’s a full-scale, Endgame-level fight, with all the teams reuniting for the final time.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
