Note: This post contains potential spoilers for Avengers: Doomsday.
The first teaser trailer for Avengers: Doomsday is reportedly ready and will be released alongside James Cameron’s Avatar: Fire and Ash. Although the teaser is said to be much more than a simple preview, it will give fans an exciting first look at what’s to come.
According to a source close to Chris Gore (via Film Threat), a preview cut of Avengers: Doomsday has already been seen, though it is not the trailer. The person who saw it was reportedly surprised by the number of scenes featuring Robert Downey Jr.’s Doctor Doom in action.
Downey Jr.’s Doom is described as a classic movie monster, compared to The Phantom of the Opera — a tragic, tormented, and broken figure. It is said that Doctor Doom needs his armor to survive because his body is completely shattered.

Although Chris Gore can be a controversial source, he previously predicted Marvel’s March 26 announcement, so he might be right again this time.
According to an insider report, Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are reportedly planning a major return to CCXP 2025, Latin America’s biggest pop culture event, taking place from December 4 to 7, 2025, in São Paulo, Brazil. This wouldn’t be their first major appearance at CCXP. Tom Holland previously surprised fans at the event in 2018 before Spider-Man: Far From Home and again during the virtual 2020 edition ahead of No Way Home.
By December 2025, filming for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is expected to be completed, and the first official look at the movie could debut at CCXP. Marvel Studios is also said to have a teaser for Avengers: Doomsday ready, which might first be shown privately to investors and partners before being released to the public.
Following Disney’s usual strategy, both previews are expected to be revealed during CCXP and then released in stages.
The teaser for Avengers: Doomsday will reportedly premiere in theaters alongside Avatar: Fire and Ash on December 18, 2025.
A few weeks later, during the Super Bowl 2026, a new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released worldwide.
Doomsday is directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film features cinematography by Newton Thomas Sigel (Bohemian Rhapsody, X-Men: Days of Future Past) and production design by Kasra Farahani.
