The first test screening for DC’s Supergirl has taken place recently, and early reactions have been largely positive.
According to the test screening report, Supergirl has a runtime of 2 hours and 5 minutes. Milly Alcock, who plays Kara Zor-El / Supergirl, reportedly does a strong job in the role, while Jason Momoa is described as fun as Lobo and has two fight scenes.
On X, @Cryptic4KQual shared the report, stating, “Supergirl had a test screening, running roughly 2 hours and 5 minutes. From what I heard, the feedback was not that great, but it wasn’t a bad film. Some scenes shined a lot more than others. Milly is praised for her acting in the role. Lobo has two fights. The villain is underwhelming.”

On Jeff Sneider’s The Hot Mic, Sneider revealed what his source told him about the Supergirl movie.
Milly Alcock is said to be great in the film, with “fine” action sequences and an underwhelming villain. Sneider also says there are potential communication issues between Kara Zor-El and Superman (David Corenswet) due to her speaking Kryptonian, possibly hinting at a flashback or brief cameo. Additionally, Seth Rogen is rumored to have a voice cameo.
Supergirl, DC Studios’ newest feature film to hit the big screen, will be in theaters worldwide this summer from Warner Bros. Pictures, starring Milly Alcock in the dual role of Supergirl/Kara Zor-El. Craig Gillespie directs the film from a screenplay by Ana Nogueira.
