Marvel Studios has released the first trailer for Avengers: Doomsday, announcing that Chris Evans is returning as Steve Rogers following his last appearance in Avengers: Endgame. Watch the trailer above.
Not only has the trailer been released, but the studio has also revealed the first poster for the movie, featuring its release date. See it below.
The trailer shows Steve Rogers arriving at his home, last seen in Avengers: Endgame. He steps off his motorbike, places his helmet on the bike, and walks toward the house. A separate shot shows him holding his Endgame suit, as if preparing to suit up again, followed by another moment of him smiling while holding his and Peggy Carter’s child. The trailer ends with the message: “Steve Rogers will return in Avengers: Doomsday.”
On Instagram, the Russo brothers shared the trailer and wrote, “The character that changed our lives. The story that brought us all here together. It was always going to come back to this…”
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron. The film is the fifth entry in the Avengers franchise after Avengers: Endgame (2019).

“Doctor Doom has officially arrived on the Marvel Cinematic Universe stage. This villain, a master of cutting-edge science and powerful magic, will unleash a cascading crisis across the multiverse. Marvel’s most iconic actor, Robert Downey Jr., also returns as Doctor Doom!”
