Those wondering who Sadie Sink is playing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day have a major spoiler update.

A new report has confirmed that Sink is playing Jean Grey in the MCU, first appearing in Brand New Day, while Tramell Tillman will play William Metzger, an obscure villain from Marvel’s X-Men comics. Metzger will serve as the head of Damage Control (DODC) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In Brand New Day, Sink’s Jean Grey has reportedly been under Department of Damage Control (DODC) surveillance for a long time.

According to Nexus Point News, Tillman signed a multi-picture deal that potentially includes Marvel Studios’ upcoming X-Men films. In the comics, Metzger was created by Joe Casey and Steve Rude in 1999 and first appeared in X-Men: Children of the Atom #1. Metzger led the Anti-Mutant Militia in the X-Men: Children of the Atom miniseries. The character was later killed by Magneto.
According to scooper MAJESTIC’s report, Sara Grey appears in Spider-Man: Brand New Day and is murdered. She is Jean Grey’s sister and has no powers. Damage Control investigates the case and seeks out Sink’s Jean for questioning and imprisonment.
In The Punisher special, Frank (Jon Bernthal) finds out about the case and investigates it, which we will see connect to Brand New Day. Frank decides to protect Jean Grey from Damage Control.
Frank’s actions in The Punisher special trigger a domino effect that leads to Tombstone becoming the most famous gangster in New York. Tombstone will also be involved with mutant growth hormone drugs, a new substance.
With too many powered vigilantes circulating in New York, Bruce Banner becomes aware of the radioactive spider that bit Peter and investigates the changes Peter Parker is undergoing.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds, and Tony Revolori as Eugene “Flash” Thompson.
Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
