As we reported previously, there will be nine villains appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is humongous for a Spider-Man movie. Also, the villains appearing in the movie are Scorpion, Tombstone, The Hand, Boomerang, Tarantula, Ramrod, 8-Ball, The Jackal, and The Enforcers.
There are rumors that Harry Holland, Tom Holland’s brother, is playing Boomerang in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
In a recent interview with The Movie Dweeb, Cretton opened up about Tom Holland’s performance in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Cretton said, “I am really excited for everybody to see Tom Holland in this movie because he killed it. His performance is incredible. He went to places that I think people, fans, and just anybody who watches the movie will feel very connected to the emotions that we’re exploring.”
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. It stars Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds, and Tony Revolori as Eugene “Flash” Thompson.
Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming, and Marvin Jones III has been confirmed to play Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
