Marvel Studios reportedly held a private test screening for Avengers: Doomsday. The version shown was the pre-reshoots cut of the film, and early reactions from viewers were positive, with some calling it the “best Marvel movie yet.”
According to scooper @MyTimeToShineH, the Avengers: Doomsday screening was attended by Marvel president Kevin Feige and select studio staff. Early reactions from those who saw the film were said to be very positive. “They were very pleased with it, some even called it the best Marvel movie yet.”
Insider Robert Meyer Burnett (@RMBee) also shared that, after seeing detailed project information for Avengers: Doomsday, he says the film “will SLAY.” He confirmed that the full-cut test screening “went Avengers: Infinity War well.”
The reshoots for Avengers: Doomsday will begin this month, with actors who were unable to film last year. The report says the reshoots will “add mostly character-focused scenes.”
An early look, such as a teaser or trailer, for Avengers: Doomsday will be revealed at CinemaCon 2026. Disney is putting a major spotlight on Avengers: Doomsday at CinemaCon, with the film’s poster now featured in the event’s main hallways in Las Vegas.
Directed by the Russo brothers from a screenplay by their longtime collaborator Stephen McFeely and Michael Waldron.
