The first footage from DC’s Supergirl, starring Milly Alcock, has been screened for fans during CCXP Mexico, along with a new trailer.
At CCXP Mexico, Milly Alcock and director Craig Gillespie presented 15 minutes of new footage from Supergirl along with a new trailer. James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy comparison feels accurate, as it clearly carries a cosmic vibe with strange creatures, adventurous energy, music-driven scenes, and a fun tone.

Description of the Supergirl scene shown at CCXP:
Kara and Ruthye are on a bus when female alien assailants attempt to rob them, stealing a sword and a watch, which triggers a fight. Kara later goes to the sun to recharge.
The second scene features Jason Momoa’s Lobo and provides more details about his introduction.
They also showed a teaser in which David Corenswet appears as Superman, welcoming Kara to Earth after the explosion of Krypton.
David Corenswet sent a message dressed as Superman to Milly Alcock during the CCXP Mexico panel for Supergirl. Watch it below.
