A new look at the Spider-Man: Brand New Day villain Marvin Jones III‘s Tombstone has leaked online. Although Marvel has not yet officially revealed the character or featured him in any promotional footage, Tombstone is expected to be one of the film’s major villains alongside Tarantula, Boomerang, and the returning Mac Gargan/Scorpion. Many fans believe the crime boss could be the mastermind funding these villains in an effort to make Peter Parker’s life in New York even more difficult.
The image shared by All Posters ahead of the film’s July 31 release date reveals the best look yet at Marvin Jones III’s Tombstone. The character’s design is more similar to his comic-book persona in live action, which portrays him as a stylish yet ruthless kingpin. See the image below.

Another piece of promotional art offers a glimpse of Spider-Man’s clash with Tombstone, teasing that the ruthless kingpin won’t be an easy opponent to defeat. See it below.

According to @Cryptic4KQual, Marvin Jones III’s Tombstone will reportedly have a small role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
It is reported that Tombstone will serve as an overarching figure throughout the upcoming Spider-Man trilogy.
While little is known about Tombstone’s involvement in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, the character seems perfectly suited to serve as a long-term villain within the MCU’s Spider-Man franchise. His history as a calculating crime lord makes him an ideal figure to operate from the shadows while other villains carry out his orders.
With Peter Parker now isolated and starting over after Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tombstone could take advantage of Peter’s situation by sending villains like Boomerang, Tarantula, and Scorpion after him. Some fans even believe he may be behind a bigger plan involving Bruce Banner and the Hulk.
Here’s the new synopsis for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
