Florence Pugh‘s Yelena Belova is confirmed to appear in Marvel’s Spider-Man: Brand New Day. A new update suggests that she will share an awkward moment with Tom Holland‘s Peter Parker.
According to insider @Cryptic4KQual, an intimacy coordinator has reportedly been hired for a scene between Peter and another rumored character in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Following that report, trusted scooper DanielRPK revealed that, “Part of Yelena Belova’s role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is her and Peter seeing each other naked.”

The insider also noted, “I did not expect her role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day to be this… steamy.“
It is reported that Yelena Belova’s role in Spider-Man: Brand New Day is linked to New York and the Hulk. She is also said to appear as the leader of the New Avengers.
The reported runtime for Spider-Man: Brand New Day is 2 hours and 24 minutes, ranking it just behind Spider-Man: No Way Home as the franchise’s longest film.
In a new featurette, Holland says that in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Peter pushes the Peter Parker side of himself away to fully become Spider-Man, which starts causing physical problems for him.
Here’s the new synopsis for Spider-Man: Brand New Day:
After the record-breaking global success of Spider-Man: No Way Home, Spider-Man: Brand New Day marks an entirely new chapter for Peter Parker and Spider-Man.
Four years have passed since the events of No Way Home, and Peter is now an adult living entirely alone, having voluntarily erased himself from the lives and memories of those he loves. Crime-fighting in a New York that no longer knows his name, he’s devoted himself entirely to protecting his city — a full-time Spider-Man — but as the demands on him intensify, the pressure sparks a surprising physical evolution that threatens his existence, even as a strange new pattern of crimes gives rise to one of the most powerful threats he has ever faced.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton from a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film stars Tom Holland as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, with Zendaya and Jacob Batalon reprising their roles as MJ Watson and Ned Leeds. Sadie Sink joins the cast alongside Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle (a.k.a. The Punisher) and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/The Hulk. Liza Colón-Zayas and Tramell Tillman have also been cast in undisclosed roles, while Michael Mando returns as Mac Gargan from Spider-Man: Homecoming and Marvin Jones III as Tombstone. Additionally, Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova will appear in the movie.
The film is produced by Amy Pascal, Rachel O’Connor, Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, and Mitch Bell.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to hit theaters and IMAX on July 31, 2026.
